For us, we are located thousands of miles away from both sides of the family, so more often than not, Christmas is a quiet affair. This, coupled with mandatory shut down at work, means we are able to travel anywhere around the world . Some places we have traveled for our Christmas vacation had marvelous Christmas vibes while some places- well, you wouldn’t know that it’s Christmas! Either way, it is still a vacation and we are blessed to be afforded the opportunity and time.
